About Us
Our story
How we began
Aditi Zutshi founded Food Protect in 2018 to provide the catering and hospitality sectors with a new and refreshing approach to health and food safety. Having worked within the food industry for many years, Aditi had become disillusioned with the existing levels of service provided by safety consultants.
Where we are now
The consultants at Food Protect work with their clients to create simple, bespoke safety systems that catering staff understand, use and value. They empower catering teams to understand why they do what they do, in terms of safety, and create a culture and ways of working that protect their people and customers from ill health and injury.
Where we're going
Aditi and her team are striving to become the preferred safety partner for hospitality businesses across the UK, with a reputation built on Food Protect’s guiding principles.
Our guiding principles
“Health and food safety compliance has earned itself a reputation for being onerous. With its often-overcomplicated processes and documentation, and the lack of implementation support and staff training, food businesses have adopted a “nice to have" rather than a “need to have" approach to compliance. Food Protect is passionate about changing these negative perceptions and helping employers to put health and food safety compliance at the core of their business.”
